O Google divulgou um relatório com uma ampla pesquisa sobre como os brasileiros utilizam tecnologia. Também dá conta de habilidades e competências importantes para o mundo conectado. Ainda não dá para aceitar como índice, pois será necessário que o survey seja repetido outras vezes, dentro de novos ciclos de pesquisa.
O material do relatório deve ser avaliado em conjunto com o portfólio de produtos e de serviços da empresa, tendo em vista uma possível estratégia promocional dentro das linhas do relatório. De qualquer modo, vale conferir o seu conteúdo (documento com 14,5 MB).

This is an interesting overview of how digital skills and technology habits can be studied at a national level. A consistent digital maturity index could eventually help educators and policymakers understand where additional training and access are most needed. I found the distinction between a single research report and a repeatable index particularly important. Continued surveys across multiple periods would make it easier to identify genuine progress, persistent inequalities, and changes in how Brazilians interact with technology.
